The Man O’ War Adventure takes you from Matiatia (ferry terminal), to the ‘bottom end’ of Waiheke and back. There is a 17KM gravel road with amazing views, farm land, native bush, wines. Couple of destinations on the way incuding Man O War winery, Waiheke Distilling Co, Pasage Rock winery. Bookings for these are recommended. A total of 54KMs – allow 5 – 6 hours. Confident riding skills and medium fittness level is important. You will conquer few hills on this loop ride.

We offer a fully charged eBike for your full day riding experience, along with route maps, guidance, safety briefing and more. Perfect for groups. Please note: All riders going to Man O War must leave the eRide office located at Matiatia by 12pm on the day, this rule is for the safety and support of all riders.

Let our ebike assist you around Waiheke Island’s ups and downs – it’s no secret that Waiheke is an island of hills – but with an e-bike, you’ll cruise around without breaking a sweat! Enjoy bike riding again, but without all the huff and puff!! Our ebikes will help you to go further, see more and experience riding just for the pleasure of riding.
eBikes are easy to control – at the touch of a button – you can select the power level you like and how much assistance you need. You may want less assistance on the flat and more on the hills – just use the up/down power button located next to the handgrip, and hills are gone, just like that! Our eBikes are very easy to operate and a blast for anyone on holiday and not out to prove anything.

- Full day hire from 9am – 6pm, Late returns will result in an additional charge of NZ$100 for every ebike, every hour or part thereof after the rental period’s expiry until the return to eRide Waiheke
