Great ride to Man O’War with very good quality ebikes. Got them recharged there so were able to coast back with full power on the biggest uphills. Unfortunately the young gentleman taking them back made the returning of the gear a bit of a hassle and then claimed we had retuned only one charger out of two, and suggested we pay for it. Only after some persistence from our part did he check on the returned chargers - and found ours on top of the pile. They are numbered. All good then. A very enjoyable day overall!

Great guys, made it super easy to hire an E-bike without a booking, they have very nice virtually new E-bikes, they ride like a dream. I rode over to Stony... read more Batter and Man O'War Bay, some amazing landscape, but it was pretty tough going on the unsealed roads - I recommend sticking to the sealed surfaces and taking more time to relax at various places. Also there is not all that much to see at Stony Batter outside of a guided tour - although it is a stunning spot with views out to the Coromandel, you can see some gun pits, but the tunnels are closed. Because I went by myself, I didn't stop off at any of the wineries, though some of them looked really appealing. Had a lovely swim at Onetangi and a beer at Charley Farley's. Left at 10:45am and got back just before they closed at 6pm, probably covered about 55 ks.

Great fun, however challenging directions. Best to have Google maps on so you don't get too lost! Great way to see the island!

A definite highlight from our Hen's Party on Waiheke. Staff had the bikes transported to a convenient pick up/drop off point for us. Bikes are of good spec and will easily get you around Waiheke with no issues. Uphill roads were no issue with these bikes.

We were also able to leave our bikes in Oneroa town and text Katya where to pick them up. This was great, as it gave us a bit more time to enjoy a drink and dinner, before we caught our ferry back to the mainland!
